The school is looking for an experienced and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated maths lessons tailored to various learning abilities.
  • Teach a broad maths curriculum, covering algebra, geometry, statistics, and other key areas.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
  • Support individual students through personalised learning plans where necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to further develop the maths curriculum.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and support strategies.
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Recognised teaching qualification and subject degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching maths at the secondary level (Key Stage 3 and 4).
  • Strong Subject Knowledge: Enthusiasm for maths and the ability to engage and inspire students.
