Position: Maths Teacher

Location: Northampton

Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of learners? Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a highly regarded secondary school in Northampton, to find an enthusiastic Maths teacher to join their dynamic team.

The school in mind are based centrally to Northampton in NN3, and have been rated a ‘Good’ School by Ofsted. They have excellent facilities, and a friendly department of supportive teachers.

About the role

As a Maths teacher you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (potentially Key Stage 5 depending on experience).
  • Tailor lessons to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring all pupils can achieve their potential.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love of Maths.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative resources and teaching strategies.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.

What we are looking for

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Enthusiasm for Mathematics and the ability to inspire a love of the subject.
  • Excellent classroom management
