Mathematics Teacher (Full-Time)

We are supporting a well-established school in Chelmsford in their search for an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving school, committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. ASAP Start.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons to students across a range of abilities and year groups.
  • Plan, prepare, and tailor lessons to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring all pupils are supported and challenged.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to help them reach their full potential.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and a love of learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the ongoing development of the Mathematics curriculum.
  • Participate in school activities and support students in extracurricular opportunities, including academic competitions.
  • Maintain open communication with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress and any concerns.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field (Qualified Teacher Status is preferred).
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level (familiarity with the GCSE and A-Level curriculum is beneficial).
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to supporting the academic and personal development of every student.
  • The ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and needs.
