Maths Teacher (Maternity Cover) – Starting January 2025

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join our team for a maternity cover position starting in January 2025. This temporary role offers an exciting opportunity to teach at a high-achieving secondary school in the picturesque town of Clitheroe, Lancashire.

As a key member of the Maths department, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, helping them to develop a strong understanding of mathematics and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum consistency and student progression.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills.
  • Strong classroom management abilities and a passion for teaching.
