Location: Northampton

Teaching Personnel have several jobs for Maths Teachers available. We are currently seeking a Maths Teacher in Northampton, for supply work in successful secondary schools. We work with a number of secondary schools who are looking for maths teachers on an ad-hoc or long-term basis.

The ideal Maths Teacher in Northampton will have the relevant qualifications, classroom experience and behavioural management skills to succeed in this role. If you can deliver work to a high standard, have a passion for teaching mathematics and can produce excellent outcomes, then this could be the ideal role for you. Supply teaching removes all the stress of after school commitments, planning and marking. But it allows you to experience a variety of settings and deliver a variety of lessons as a maths teacher, no day is the same! If you are looking for flexibility and the ability to choose your own hours, supply is a great path to choose.

Your new role:
As a qualified Maths teacher, you will be responsible for motivating and inspiring students in KS3 and KS4. Creating high-quality lesson plans that are in line with the curriculum. Whether ECT or an experienced teacher, you must be confident in delivering high-quality lessons to secondary school students. Effective communication, teamwork and organisational skills are crucial to this role. 

Requirements:
• Teaching with QTS or minimum of two years teaching experience
• Experience working with students with SEMH needs.
• Safeguarding Training (which can be completed through Teaching Personnel)
• Valid DBS on the update service (able to apply through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
