We have an exciting contract starting as soon as possible for a Qualified Maths Teacher to join support a Secondary Academy in Milton Keynes from January 2024. 

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Teacher of Maths to at least GCSE level and be an outstanding classroom practitioner, keen to bring your exceptional knowledge of Mathematics to their classrooms across Year 7 to Year 11 to support students through the Foundation or Higher paper courses.

  • Contract: Full-time, long-term contract until April 2025 (permanent contract on offer for the right Teacher), 8:15am - 3:15pm
  • Start date: November 2024 or January 2025
  • Location: Milton Keynes

This is a large Academy hosting over 1200+ pupils across Year 7 to Year 13. The school is easily reachable from the M1 and provides an easy route for any Teachers considering a role on the east side of Milton Keynes. They demonstrates an excellent reputation in the City of MK for its excellent learning environment, modern classroom facilities, and hosting a culture of respect, subject passion and good standard of behaviour.

Contract Details:
This would be a contract position offered full-time through Teaching Personnel - this position is also ideal for a Maths Teacher looking for their next long-term or permanent challenge. There will be a 3 month probationary period as standard with all Teachers who take on a permanent position at the school. The hours are full-time, arriving for 8:15am and finishing at 3:15pm. You will be involved with planning, marking and delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4 as well as be involved with all CPD and parents evenings.

Pay
You would be paid to the National Teacher Pay Scale salary between MPS - UPS on a daily rate equivalent on a weekly basis during the probation period then salary offer directly with the school after this is complete.
