We are seeking a dynamic and resilient Maths Teacher to join a small secondary provision in Colne. This unique setting caters to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, past trauma, and anxiety. If you are passionate about making a real difference in young people's lives and can bring strong behaviour management, empathy, and a good sense of humour to the role, we want to hear from you!

  • Location: Colne
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • Contract: Temp to perm
  • Deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to students' individual needs
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively while fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with students to help them overcome emotional and academic barriers
  • Work collaboratively with a small, dedicated team to provide a safe and inclusive space for students
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A sense of humour, patience, and the ability to connect with students
  • Empathy and resilience in working with students who have experienced trauma or anxiety

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
