Teaching Personnel is on the lookout for a talented and dedicated Maths Tutor to provide high-quality support to students in need of additional assistance in mathematics.

As a Maths Tutor, you will work with students of varying abilities, helping them to build their confidence, improve their understanding of mathematical concepts, and achieve their academic goals. Whether working 1:1 or in small groups, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored 1:1 or group tutoring sessions in Maths.
  • Assess individual learning needs and create personalised lesson plans.
  • Clarify complex concepts, ensuring students develop a strong understanding of core topics.
  • Track and report on student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum (Key Stage 3, 4, and/or 5).
  • Experience in tutoring, teaching, or relevant mentoring roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and the ability to break down complex topics into manageable steps.
  • A passion for helping students achieve their best.
