Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Skills: SEN experience

  • Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students in mathematics
  • Create and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students
  • Assess student's progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Help students develop a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field
  • Teaching or tutoring experience in mathematics
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Maths
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience in mathematics
  • Excellent understanding of mathematical concepts and principles
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or Mathematics
  • Experience in using different teaching strategies and resources to support student learning
  • Part-time hours, flexible schedule
  • Work primarily in an educational setting such as a school or tutoring centre
  • May require travel to student's homes or other locations for tutoring sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
