The Maths Tutor will be responsible for providing one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students. Duties include assessing students' learning needs, developing tailored teaching plans, explaining mathematical concepts clearly, assigning practise exercises, tracking student progress, and providing feedback to students and parents/guardians.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs

- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum

A degree in Mathematics or a related field

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics preferred

- In-depth understanding of mathematical concepts

- Ability to engage and motivate students

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Organisational and time management skills

- Master's degree in Mathematics or Education

- Previous experience working with students of different age groups and abilities

This position involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The Maths Tutor may need to travel to students' homes or meet them at a designated location for tutoring sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
