Teaching Personnel is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Media Studies Teacher to join our vibrant team. Located in the beautiful coastal town of Exmouth, our school is dedicated to fostering creativity, critical thinking, and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Media Studies to Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 students.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that inspires students to explore the world of media, including digital media, film, television, and journalism.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to express their ideas and opinions.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Media Studies program and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Media Studies, Communication, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Media Studies at secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary media issues and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
