Position: Mental Health Support Worker

Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire

Contract: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

 

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will:

Provide one-on-one support to students with mental health needs in educational settings

Offer emotional support, guidance, and practical assistance to help students navigate challenges

Implement strategies to promote positive mental health and well-being within the school community

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure the holistic support of students

Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback and reports as required

Previous experience working in a support role, ideally within a mental health or educational setting

Empathy, patience, and the ability to build trusting relationships with students

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
