Your Role: As an MLD Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with MLD within a dynamic educational environment. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing one-to-one or small group support to students with MLD
  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students
  • Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to the teaching team
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of each student

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with students with MLD or similar special educational needs (SEN) is highly desirable but not essential
  • A compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
  • Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to adapt to the varying needs of students in a classroom setting
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training in SEN support is advantageous
