We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teacher of Business and Economics   Teacher to join our client secondary school located in Northampton

With a Ofsted ‘Good’ rating and holding an excellent community feel throughout the school, the ideal candidate will be able to hold the schools ethos and develop and inspire students in this ever growing subject.

This opportunity has arisen due to a gap in the school’s Business department, and we are looking for a talented individual to take on full teaching responsibilities and lead a full timetable. Additionally, you will be flexible, collaborative, and resilient, with a strong commitment to promoting positive behaviour management. This is a full-time position, teaching KS3 and KS4. You will work closely with other members of the department to ensure a cohesive and supportive working environment.

As the successful candidate, you will be expected to deliver outstanding lessons and demonstrate a flair for teaching and learning. You will have high expectations for standards and achievement and be open to new and innovative ways of teaching.

Easily accessible via public transport and commutable within 30 minutes from surrounding areas such as Milton Keynes, Towcester and Daventry comm. The school offers a large staff parking spaces for staff and teachers.

We offer a competitive salary in line with the MPS/UPS scale, ranging from £30,000 to £46,525 per annum.

Requirements:

  • UK qualified QTS or completed by May 2024
  • Must be able to provide a DBS on the update service/willingness to apply for an enhanced DBS (child workforce only)
  • Be able to provide references from your teacher training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
