MUSIC TEACHER

Are you a passionate individual with a creative flair? 

Have you got experience teaching music at a secondary school?

Do you hold a UK QTS or have vast relevant experience?

Location: Hall Green, Birmingham

 

Qualifications/Job Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • NQT/ECT encouraged to apply
  • A degree in Music or a creative arts subject
  • Proven track record teaching music within a secondary school
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong passion for music and eager to inspire the next generation through music

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Plan and deliver engaging music lessons which allow students to express themselves
  • Encourage pupils to partake in learning an instrument and engaging in extra curricular musical activities i.e. school choir
  • Assess pupil progress regularly and provide timely and informative feedback
  • Create a positive and enriching learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music and creative arts departments within the school
