We are working closely with a Secondary School situated in a suburb of Milton Keynes who are recruiting for a Music Teacher from October 2024

  • Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
  • Start date: October 2024
  • Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term contract until at least December 2024, possibly extended to April 2024
  • Pay: £143-211 (Main Pay Scale for Qualified Teachers), paid as a daily rate through us then salary directly offered with school

The role would involve teaching Music across Year 7 to Year 13, delivering the Music curriculum for predominantly GCSE and some A Level. This would lead to a permanent role for a Music Teacher seeking this kind of commitment, however, is open to Music Teachers only looking for a temporary contract.

If you are a Qualified Teacher or Instructor specialising in Music, with at least 1 year experience teaching to Key Stage 3, we would love to hear from you.

Key points for success

  • An experienced Instructor or Qualified Music Teacher, and able to deliver to at least KS3
  • Special considerations to a Music Graduate with future ambitions to be a Teacher
  • Great knowledge of Music and the syllabus 
  • Previous experience supporting or teaching in a Secondary School
  • Present a 'can do' and positive attitude to inspire pupils
  • Able to motivate and inspire, whilst using your own initiative 
  • Willingness to learn and support others
  • Patient and friendly attitude
