Role: Afternoon Nursery Assistant

Location: Cardiff

Hours: 12:00 – 15.30

Pay: £77 per day (paid weekly)

Start Date: January 8th

Are you passionate about early childhood education and making a difference in the lives of young learners? We are seeking a dedicated Afternoon Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a school we work closely with on April 8th. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about nurturing young minds and supporting their growth and development

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing engaging and age-appropriate activities for children in the nursery.
  • Supervise children during playtime, always ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing environment where children feel encouraged to explore, learn, and develop social skills.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a inclusive and enriching learning experience for all children.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and a desire to make a positive impact on children's lives.
  • Excellent communication with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing demeanour when working with young learners.
  • Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or a related field are desirable but not essential.
