Position: Nursery Assistant

Location: NP23

Pay: £83.50 per day minimum

Start: September 2024

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a local primary school based in Ebbw Vale. The school are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join them as a nursery assistant, starting in the new academic year. Are you the person to develop and encourage positive behaviours in young children? This opportunity is for people who can inspire and encourage a fun learning environment.

Nursery Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Assist in nursery activities, supporting the daily operations of the nursery.
  • Create a positive environment for learning.
  • Be organised and able to think on your feet.
  • Be passionate about providing the best care to the children.
  • Adhering to school safeguarding regulations.
  • Collaborating with other members of staff.
  • Adapt to different situations as they arise.

Nursery Assistant Requirements:

  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
  • Hold a Child only DBS certificate that is registered on the Update System
  • Provide two professional references covering 24 months
