Are you an experienced Nursery Nurse, looking to work in an outstanding Nursery in Southampton?

Do you have a CACHE Level 2 or 3?

A Nursery rated excellent by Ofsted is looking for a Practioner 5 days a week.

Pay is competetitive and the role is permenant. 

 As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 4 months-3 years old in our vibrant and nurturing nursery environment.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

- Creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.

- Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and experiences to promote children's development in all areas: physical, cognitive, emotional, and social.

- Observing and assessing children's progress and interests, and using this information to plan future activities and support individual learning needs. - Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, and maintaining open communication to ensure the best possible care and support for each child.

- Promoting good hygiene practices and ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the nursery environment.

- Adhering to all safeguarding and health and safety policies and procedures at all times.

 

 

Requirements: 

- Level 2 or 3 CACHE qualification.

- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.

- Sound knowledge of child development theories and practices.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
