Nursery Nurses and Teaching Assistants Required Expiring soon

Do you have a passion for helping children in their first schooling experience?

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking nurturing, patient and pro-active Teaching Assistants who can help support a local Primary school in September with their new intake of pupils. The role will be based on supporting the nursery and reception classes, providing everyday care for the pupils and supporting their learning and development.

We are looking for an educator who can build positive working relationships with pupils and staff and is reliable and passionate about their role. Being able to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs would be desirable but not essential.

The role will entail:

• Supporting with basic language skills
• Feeding and personal care
• Ensuring wellbeing and safety of all pupils
• Lead small groups of pupils with everyday tasks
• Encourage positive play and communication

Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: Newport

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 – 15:30

Pay: Min £12.90ph

Start: September 2024

Essential Requirements for the role:

• Enhanced child only DBS (we can help complete for you)
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• 24 months of valid referencing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
