About Us:

We are a well-established and reputable nursery, committed to creating a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Our nursery caters to children aged 6 months to 5 years, and we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care and early education to give every child the best start in life.

Your Role:

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be an integral member of our dedicated team. You will work collaboratively with our experienced staff to create a nurturing and enriching environment for children. Your responsibilities will include engaging in age-appropriate activities, assisting with mealtimes, supporting children's personal care needs, and maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

-          Observe and monitor children's progress, documenting their achievements and developmental milestones.

-          Foster positive relationships with both children and parents, ensuring effective communication.

-          Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for children at all times.

-          Support children's emotional well-being and provide comfort and encouragement when needed.

-          Collaborate with the team to create a creative and stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

-          Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification.

-          Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable.

-          Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and its application in a nursery setting.

-          Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-          A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing to their development.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with working hours from 8 am to 6 pm. We value a healthy work-life balance and offer a supportive working environment.
