About Us: We are a well-established nursery offering a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Our focus is on delivering high-quality care and early education to help every child thrive.

Your Role: As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll be a key member of our team, working with experienced staff to create an enriching environment for the children. Your duties will include planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, supporting personal care needs, assisting with mealtimes, and fostering a positive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Monitor and record children’s progress and development.
• Build positive relationships with children and parents.
• Ensure a safe and hygienic environment at all times.
• Support children’s emotional well-being and offer comfort when needed.
• Work collaboratively with the team to create a stimulating learning space.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
• Experience in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for early childhood development.

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm. We promote work-life balance and offer a supportive working environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
