About the Nursery
Our nursery is renowned for its commitment to offering a safe, fun, and stimulating environment where children can learn and flourish. We cater for children aged 6 months to 4 years, taking pride in delivering outstanding care and early education to ensure every child has the best start in life.

Your Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be an essential part of our dedicated team, working alongside experienced colleagues to foster a nurturing and enriching environment for the children. Your responsibilities will include planning age-appropriate activities, assisting with mealtimes, supporting children’s personal care needs, and promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Observe and track children’s progress, documenting their achievements and developmental milestones.
  • Build positive relationships with children and parents, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Always maintain a safe and hygienic environment for the children.
  • Support children’s emotional well-being, offering comfort and encouragement as needed.
  • Collaborate with the team to create a creative and stimulating learning space.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and its application in a nursery environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.

Working Hours
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with hours from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. We value a healthy work-life balance and offer a supportive working environment.

The nursery is conveniently located in Birkenhead, with easy access to public transport and ample parking available nearby.
