Nursery Room Leader

We are now recruiting EYFS Nursery Practitioners for some exciting opportunities in our Burnley Nurseries.

Our nurseries pride themselves on building relationships, gaining trust and making a difference in children’s learning and development.

The successful candidate will be working as a Nursery Assistant, supporting their children through a nurturing approach.

  • Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday (hours may vary)
  • Pay: £12.90 - £13.50
  • Location:  Burnley Nursery

Your Responsibilities:

ü  Provide education in a safe, fun and stimulating environment.

ü  Be responsible for carrying out observations so that gaps in children’s development can be identified.

ü  Ability to prioritise the well-being and development of your key children.

ü  As a Key Worker, you will need to carry out engaging activities to meet the needs of your children.

ü  Provide daily care to your key children, encouraging them to become independent.

ü  Be calm and approachable for children, parents/carers and staff, demonstrating clear communication.

ü  Promote high standards of quality within the nursery learning environment.

Your requirements:

ü  Strong communication and interpersonal skills

ü  Ability to work collaboratively with supporting staff, other professionals and parents.

ü  Excellent understanding of the EYFS framework.  

ü  Have a passion for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment

ü  Relevant experience working with children, in a childcare setting.

ü  Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS Qualification or equivalent.

ü  Enhanced DBS Check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
