Due to a number of children with SEN and a commitment to providing the best quality education for all their students, a large primary school in Stoke is looking for a Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 1 to work with a nurture group of lower-achieving children.

  • Key Stage 1 Experience
  • Working with low-achieving EAL children
  • Supporting SEN children in Key Stage 1

  • Nurturing roles and qualities desirable

This school provides excellent support structures and proudly serves the local community. There is a specific cohort of Key Stage 1 children who need a nurturing approach to their learning as they are currently low achievers. You will need experience as a teaching assistant and familiarity with running a classroom, as you will be expected to lead small groups and positively impact raising attainment within the Year 1/2 class.

If you have experience working within Key Stage 1 and possess a calm and nurturing nature with the patience to support children of low ability, SEN, and EAL, the school would be interested in meeting you.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
