Location: East Midlands, Northamptonshire, Wellingborough

Salary: £25.00 per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide one-to-one tutoring for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities.
  • Deliver tailored lessons to support academic progress and personal development.
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with SEN.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.

Experience:

  • At least 1 years of UK experience in a similar role.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN support strategies and interventions.
  • Familiarity with the UK educational system and curriculum.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in SEN teaching or related areas.
  • Experience with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia or autism.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
