  • Supporting the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
  • Providing one-on-one support to students as needed
  • Helping to create a stimulating and safe learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Level 2 or 3 Childcare Certificate
  • Enhanced DBS check

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Prior experience working in a similar role within an educational setting

  • Understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with young children
  • First Aid certification
  • Experience with SEN students

This role involves working part-time hours within a school setting, following the school term calendar. The ability to adapt to the needs of the classroom and provide support to both students and teachers is essential. The role may require some physical activity and occasional participation in extracurricular activities.
