About the role - Pastoral Manager Behaviour
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Start date: September 2024
Contract: Permanent, term time 39 weeks, 37 hours per week
Teaching Personnel are working with one of our partner secondary schools who are looking for a Pastoral Manager (Behaviour). The Pastoral Manager will work under the leadership of the Vice Principal for Pastoral. The successful person will play a vital role in contributing to the culture, ethos, and wellbeing of the whole Academy. This includes working with them to improve their mental health and wellbeing, their behaviour choices and their physical health. The successful candidate will work closely with families to provide behaviour interventions and support to improve student behaviour and remove student barriers to learning.

Who we are looking for
GCSE in English, Maths, others or equivalent qualifications
Relevant work experience of supporting students in an educational/ pastoral
Enthusiastic, hardworking and dedicated invidual with a passion for supporting young people
Adaptability to adapt to new situations as they arise and form strong professional relationships with others
The ability to interpret student progress data
Knowledge of child protection procedures, safe guarding and the Trusts' policies and procedures
Experience in usual Bromcom and a good level of ICT skills would be desireable
Aware that the Trust will take all steps to prevent those who pose a risk of harm from working with children. Recruitment procedures ensure rigour in identifying and rejecting people who might abuse children.
