Teaching Personnel is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Pastoral Support Officer at a vibrant mainstream primary school located in Marton (FY3).

Strat Date: Tuesday 7th May 2024.

Hours: Monday – Friday (9:00-15:30).

The Role: As a Pastoral Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and inclusive school environment where every child feels valued and supported. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing emotional and social support to students facing challenges.
  • Implementing strategies to promote positive behavior and well-being.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to address individual needs.
  • Organizing and facilitating workshops and activities to promote personal development and resilience.
  • Monitoring and tracking student progress and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to build trusting relationships with students and families.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
