Teaching Personnel Birmingham are working in partnership with an OFSTED rated "Good" school within the Coleshill area of Warwickshire to recruit a passionate pastoral support worker who can work collaboratively with the pastoral team. Teaching Personnel have a very good working relationship with this school and can ensure the successful applicant will be supported fully in order to thrive in this position.

PAY RATE:

£100-125 (dependent upon experience)

The ideal candidate will:

  • have had relevant experience within a pastoral or supportive role
  • have had experience working with children with SEMH and SEN
  • have a confident and approachable personality
  • have the ability to develop a positive rapport with the students and staff members
  • adhere to schools policies & procedures at all time, keeping safeguarding at the pinnacle of their practice

 

The role is outlined below:

  • provide day-to-day support to pupils of varying social, emotional and personal needs
  • contribute to the planning and delivery of interventions and supporting activities and programmes
  • collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues to create a positive environment where all pupils feel comfortable
  • liaise regularly with staff members, teachers and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for individuals
