Salary: £90 - £110 Per Day (depending on experience)

 

We are currently seeking a PE Coach / PE Assistant to join our team and support students in one of our established Pupil Referral Units. Please see below for further details.

Our client school supports Secondary aged students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH). 

The Role:

  • Working with students to help them manage and improve their behaviour in a PE classroom setting. 
  • Developing individual behaviour plans and working closely with the SENCO and teachers to implement strategies.
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to students.
  • Promoting positive behaviour, self-esteem, and resilience in students.
  • Acting as a role model and providing pastoral support when needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCSE qualifications in English and Maths.
  • A strong character that can manage students with challenging behaviour. 
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred but not required. This role includes additional responsibilities beyond those of a Teaching Assistant.
  • Proactive mindset to take initiative.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently.
  • Prioritisation skills to handle multiple responsibilities.
