The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Female PE Cover Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising PE lessons and activities, ensuring that students remain engaged and active. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for physical education and working with young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise PE lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a safe and productive environment.
  • Support the planning and delivery of PE activities and sports events.
  • Encourage student participation and enthusiasm for physical activities.
  • Assist in the setup and organisation of equipment for PE lessons.
  • Maintain discipline and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and engagement.
  • Covering general classes.
  • Supporting with staffing gaps within school on a daily basis.
  • Provide support to the PE department and other school activities as needed.

Requirements:

  • A strong interest and passion for physical education and sports.
  • Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a school or sports setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate students effectively.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices in a PE environment.
  • A relevant qualification in physical education or sports coaching is desirable but not essential.
  • Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of students.
