Salary: £100 - £140 Per day

  • Supervise physical education classes for secondary school students
  • Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Engage students in physical activities and sports
  • Manage classroom behaviour and discipline
  • Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress
  • Degree in Sports Science or Physical Education
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science or Physical Education
  • Prior experience working with secondary school students (not essential)
  • Experience in sports coaching or education field
  • Strong athletic abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate students
  • Knowledge of various sports and physical education principles
  • Teaching qualification or experience
  • First aid certification
  • Part-Time hours, temporary position - work around current commitments 
  • Work in a secondary school setting
  • May involve standing for long periods and physical activity
  • Collaborate with school staff and students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
