  • Plan, deliver and assess PE lessons tailored to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs and abilities
  • Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) for SEN students
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to provide a holistic learning experience
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialist knowledge and experience in teaching PE to students with SEN
  • Understanding of SEN provisions and best practises in inclusive education

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a similar role

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of relevant curriculum frameworks and assessment practises

This role involves working within a school setting, collaborating with other staff members and supporting students with SEN. The work hours are full-time, following the school schedule.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
