An exciting opportunity to join the PE department of a developing secondary school in Bury, known for its recent climb in performance tables.

  • Full-time PE teacher.
  • Required from after October half term until the end of the academic year in the first instance.
  • Must have experience teaching PE up to GCSE level and have QTS.
  • Both experienced and newly qualified PE teachers are welcome to apply as relevant induction support will be provided.
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (£25,614 - £41,604 per annum).
  • Secondary school looking for ambitious staff to help improve overall student attainment.

The successful PE teacher will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver differentiated male PE lessons to meet the needs of individual learners at various levels of learning and ability. The teacher will also be given full planning and marking responsibilities and will be teaching a timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.

Our client school is in Bury and can be accessed via the M66 and A56 from surrounding areas such as Bolton and Prestwich. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from neighbouring areas.
