Key Responsibilities:
*
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet curriculum requirements and the needs of all students.
*
Foster a positive learning environment and monitor the progression of students’ skills and understanding in various sports and physical activities.
*
Organize, promote, and facilitate school sports teams, events, and competitions.
*
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with broader educational goals.
*
Maintain student discipline in the classroom and on school premises, following school policies.
*
Participate in departmental meetings, parent conferences, and whole-school training events.

Requirements:
*A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education or related field.
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
*Experience teaching PE at secondary school level is preferred.
*Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for physical education and the ability to design varied programs that cater to differing abilities.
*Excellent organizational and communication skills.
*A commitment to professional development and the school’s ethos.
*Ability to inspire and motivate students towards maintaining physical health, well-being, and sportsmanship.

Additional Qualifications:
*Experience in coaching sports teams or leading extracurricular sports activities is highly desirable.
*Additional certifications related to physical education, such as coaching, first aid, or sports management, are advantageous.
