• Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons in accordance with the national curriculum for students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development in sports and physical activities
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment in sports
• Organise and supervise extra-curricular sports activities to encourage active participation and promote a healthy lifestyle

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
• PGCE and NQT accepted
• Proven track record teaching PE within a secondary school
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or sports science

• Demonstrated experience working with children with special educational needs (desirable)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to differentiate lessons to suit individual learning needs within the class
• Familiarity with the PE national curriculum
• Ability to assess student learning and development effectively

• Additional certifications in sports coaching or related fields

• Full-time contract position
• Work hours expected to align with standard school hours
• May require participation in school events and sports fixtures outside regular hours
