Teaching Personnel are looking for a talented PE teacher to join a school located in the Poole area! This vacancy is ready to go, so once vetting is complete, we can get you out to the school. The role will be until the spring holidays 2025, with a possible extension depending on the success of the period and the position is still required.

This school is an all through school which means the age range starts at 4 all the way through to 16 years old. The school feels that they really get to create relationships with their students as they have that extra time to cater to the student’s needs. This school has also had an amazing year for results and is proud to have achieved over 90% of their students passing their English and Maths GCSE’S in 2023.  As a PE teacher you will hold yourself to a professional high standard in both theory and the practical side of the curriculum.

The ideal candidate should have a broad subject knowledge on physical education and be able to plan various lesson plans for all the sports that the school exercises.

Expectationsfor the role:

  • Confident in delivering sessions, running demonstrations to aid physical and technical improvements, time management and delivering theory-based learning.
  • Is a skilled, organised, and dedicated PE teacher with a drive to deliver high quality sport and PE education to students across KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
  • Upholds and executes successful, engaging, and inclusive practices including students' academic progress and personal development at the core of their professional mindset.
  • Communicate, coordinate, and maintain connections within the department to encourage improvements throughout the PE curriculum and between staff members.
