Teaching Personnel are actively recruiting for enthusiastic, and a highly experienced PE Teacher to join our team to work in an excellent school based in Northampton (NN3) who are a well known school within the area, with a ‘Good’ rating from OFSTED.

As a PE Teacher, you will play an important role in developing students' physical abilities and promoting a love for sports and fitness. You will design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse skill levels, ensuring every student can participate and thrive. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire students to set and achieve personal goals, fostering a positive attitude towards physical health.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive PE curriculum for various grade levels.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all students.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Organize and oversee school sports events and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate physical education into the overall educational program.
• Stay updated with current PE trends and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification in Physical Education (state-specific requirements apply).
• Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for physical fitness and student development.
• Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
