**TEACHING PERSONNEL PAYS TO SCALE FOR ALL LONG-TERM CONTRACTS**

Our partnered secondary school situated in Birmingham are currently seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Physical Education teacher to start as soon as possible!

Within this role, you will deliver PE lessons to students aged 11-16, covering various sports and physical skills. You will be expected to deliver engaging and active lessons in line with the National Curriculum, whilst making appropriate adjustments. You will look to develop technique and performance levels across a range of activities such as football, athletics, hockey and trampolining.

Primarily, you will encourage all students to participate in the lessons and promote a healthy lifestyle, competition, and sport progression. You may also have the opportunity to lead extra-curricular sports.

Requirements

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Competency in a range of sports and physical activities.
  • Good knowledge of the Physical Education curriculum.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Teaching classes of up to 30 pupils.
  • Have vast knowledge and understanding of the Physical Education curriculum.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     
  • Assess and monitor students progress across the academic year.
  • Encourage and motivate the learning of the pupils.
  • Prepare and implement lessons to a high standard.
