Location: Swindon, Wiltshire

Contract: Full time, permanent

Start Date: September 2024

Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (MPS/UPS)

About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Science Teacher to join one of our client secondary schools in the Swindon area. The successful educator will be responsible for delivering high-quality science lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching A-Level in the future. There could also be an opening for a Head of Department for Science for an outstanding educator. This would come with a TLR payment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their potential.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and create a positive learning environment.

Participate in professional development and contribute to school activities and initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

A degree in a science-related field.

Proven experience teaching science at secondary school level.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
