Personal Care Teaching Assistant (Part-Time) – NN3, Northampton

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with experience in personal care? Teaching Personnel is seeking a Personal Care Teaching Assistant to join a ‘Good’ school in NN3, Northampton.

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM - 2:00 PM (Part-time, term time only)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to students with personal care needs, including assistance with gastro bands and catheters 
  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure a safe, supportive learning environment for all students
  • Maintain a high level of dignity and respect in delivering care

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in personal care (gastro band or catheter care is essential, if experience with one, the school are happy to provide training with the other)
  • A patient, empathetic, and professional approach
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply)
