Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join the team from September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire and motivate students to develop their physical abilities, promote healthy lifestyles, and encourage participation in a variety of sports and physical activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Organise and oversee extracurricular sports activities and events.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Experience teaching PE at the secondary school level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to promoting health and well-being among students.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
