The successful candidate will:
- Teach A-Level Physics (KS5) to students with a strong interest in Science, helping them develop an in-depth understanding of key concepts and principles
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving
- Tailor lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students, ensuring that all learners are supported and able to achieve their academic goals
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing detailed feedback and guidance to help them improve and succeed in examinations
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Science Department and wider school community to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, supporting extracurricular activities and fostering a positive, inclusive environment
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching Physics at A-Level (KS5), with a strong understanding of the subject and a passion for inspiring students
- Demonstrates excellent communication and classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
- Is committed to the academic and personal development of students, helping them achieve their full potential in Physics
