Teaching Personnel is looking for experienced and qualified Physics Teachers (QTS) to join our dedicated secondary schools in the Portsmouth and surrounding areas. We are searching for individuals who are passionate about Physics and committed to sharing their knowledge while supporting students in overcoming challenges.

 

  • Deliver inspiring and engaging Physics lessons that ignite curiosity in students and adapt to their individual learning needs.
  • Plan and implement lessons that follow the national curriculum, ensuring they are both inclusive and challenging.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing tailored feedback and support to help students achieve their potential.
  • Maintain classroom discipline, creating a positive and focused learning environment.
  • Support students facing academic challenges, providing extra guidance to those who need it while fostering a welcoming and approachable presence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school-wide initiatives, contributing to the broader educational community.

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching Physics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Strong classroom management and adaptability to ensure lessons cater to a wide range of learning abilities.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
