Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PPA Cover Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing cover for teachers during their PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time. This role does not require any planning or preparation, allowing you to focus solely on delivering high-quality teaching and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across various subjects in line with the school curriculum.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning space.
  • Follow the lesson plans provided by the class teacher and adhere to school policies and procedures.
  • Provide feedback to the class teacher on pupil progress and any issues encountered during the lesson.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a primary school setting is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different classes and year groups.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to the educational development of pupils.
