A vibrant and inclusive primary school, dedicated to providing a stimulating and supportive learning environment for all students, is seeking an enthusiastic and versitile PPA teacher to work at the school on a flexible, part-time basis. This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking for a flexible working arrangement.

Job Description: As a Primary PPA Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality teaching across various year groups during teachers' Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time. You will work closely with our dedicated team to ensure a seamless learning experience for our students, covering lessons and maintaining a positive classroom environment. You will be expected to cover classes and deliver lessons to pupils from EYFS - KS2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across different year groups in the primary curriculum.
  • Provide cover for teachers during their PPA time.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression in pupils' learning.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the school's continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting is desirable, but ECTs are welcome to apply.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to creating a positive learning environment for all students.
