Key Stage 1 PPA Teacher (PR25)

An opportunity has come to light for a PPA teacher to join a lovely primary school within the Leyland area. The role of a PPA teacher is to release the class teacher from class therefore, you will deliver learning activities to the children as instructed to by the class teacher. The role will include directing the Teaching Assistant within the class and managing behaviour. It is the role of the PPA teacher to implement the relevant behaviour strategies in line with the schools’ policies.

Pay: £100.00 - £130.00 p/day
Start: September 2024.
Contract: Monday-Friday (full day). 
It is important that you hold great responsibility throughout the duration of the role. 

The year 2 PPA teacher will:
- Make contact with the class teacher prior to covering the class to guarantee the smooth running of a lesson.
- Familiarise yourself with the schools policies in particular marking and behaviour.
- Mark the childrens work then feedback to the teacher.
- Manage behaviour in the classroom effectively.
- Creative positive relationships with the children, allowing them to build trust.
- Deliver activities in a memorable way.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
