Rates of pay: £120-£150 per day 

Where: Poulton

Hours: Thursday-Friday (8:30-3:30)

Start date: January 2025

An opportunity has arisen at a primary school in Poulton for a Qualified Teacher to join a ‘GOOD’ Primary School. The teacher will start at the school on a part-time basis, working 2 full days a week, working across KS1 and KS2 with roles of planning, preparation, and assessment. The Teaching role will run to the end of the academic year, with the opportunity for the teaching role to be extended with the right candidate.

What does the role entail?

  • Teaching classes that need covering across KS1 and KS2.
  • Communicating effectively with class teachers and support staff across the school.
  • Planning for classes in case of absences.
  • Being flexible and reliable to step up and cover classes in the absence of teachers.
  • Marking classwork.

Requirements for the role:

During teachers’ non-contact periods, the school are eager to take on an adaptable, enthusiastic, and hardworking teacher to make a positive impact on the children in the school and their educational journey.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
