Premises Manager / Outstanding School / London Borough of Brent
Are you an experienced Premises Manager with a passion for leadership and excellence in building maintenance? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our vibrant secondary school community in the London Borough of Brent.
Role expectation:
- Oversee a team of Premises Officers, handling recruitment, performance management, and training to enhance skills for minor maintenance tasks.
- Schedule, prioritise, and supervise the work of premises staff to ensure high productivity and value for money.
- Supervise premises staff and external agencies to ensure high standards of work on all school facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of the school buildings, initiating repairs and prioritising necessary maintenance tasks.
- Provide technical and craft support to teaching staff.
- Liaise with the Estates Manager and Principal on security and major repair issues.
- Personally contribute to repairs and maintenance alongside the premises team.
Requirements:
- Clean and current enhanced DBS on the update service
- Experience working as a Premises Manager in a school environment
